Anthropic is launching Claude Cowork on mobile and web

Anthropic has expanded access to Claude Cowork, its AI platform, to mobile and web users, according to The Verge AI. Previously limited to the desktop app on macOS and Windows, the service is now available on iOS and Android starting Tuesday for Max subscribers, with plans to roll out to other tiers in the coming weeks. While the desktop app remains the primary environment for features like local file access, Cowork sessions will now run in the cloud by default, enabling cross-device continuity. This move reflects a broader push to make AI tools more portable and integrated into developers' workflows. For builders, the ability to start a session on a laptop and resume on a phone lowers friction, though the full feature set remains on desktop.
